On Saturday 20 May, Safe Haven North Coast partnered with the Lismore Lions Club to participate in the 50th Aquarius Nimbin Festival. It was a beautiful day for the large crowds to enjoy the activities.
The Safe Haven team positioned itself near the Nimbin Skate Park called “Young and Young at Heart” Day, hoping to encourage young people to learn more about how Safe Havens support youth. Safe Havens North Coast provided rock painting, yoga, counselling, and great music by our talented peer worker, Rod.
A very big thank you the festival organisers, Jeni, Paul, and Branka for allowing us to be involved in this wonderful community day.
